What we do: Prepare high school students for careers in information technology.
We are a CT2 approved program. Students will earn college credits for completed classwork that's transferrable to Ohio public colleges.
Environment: Small class size, modern equipment, more resources to help students learn than one could ever use:

What type of student should you be to work in information technology?
- Someone who really likes technology, not just to play video games.
- Desires to know how computers work and how data is transmitted across a network
- Not afraid of reading, studying, and taking notes.
- Will take the time to memorize needed information for career.
- Likes to fix things
- Really wants to be successful and willing to sacrifice time for their future

- Students who enroll for fall classes will get academy usernames and passwords to self-study during the summer if they choose. This information will be provided during upcoming orientation day visit on April 20, 2023.
IT Certifications:
- The Cisco Networking courses: CCNA1, CCNA2, and CCNA3 prepare students for the CCNA certification.
- The IT Essentials courses: Computer Hardware and software prepare students for the CompTIA A+ certification.

- Worked in IT for 25 years
- Transportation, business, and healthcare industries
- Computer programmer, networking, database administration
- Degrees in IT, business, and education
- 22 years teaching experience, including:
- 17 years teaching Cisco networking (5 Years at Normandy High School and 12 Years CVCC)
- 6 years adjunct professor teaching Cisco networking at Cuyahoga Community College, Western Campus
