Originally named Stars & Stripes Cutting Boards, Tim's Cutting Boards was created in December of 2011. The idea to sell boards was from my father, five years after we made my mother a cutting board for Christmas to replace the badly damaged brandless board that she had.

In December of 2011 my father brought up the idea of selling my cutting boards to the public. I was unsure at first, but decided to go for it. To help the community, I made a promise to donate half my profits to the Cleveland Foodbank. As of early June 2012 I have sold more than 30 boards, and donated more than $275 to to help the Foodbank on its mission to end hunger.
